USER GROUP
The Castle Park Users Group objective is:
To protect and enhance the park and linked green spaces for the enjoyment and wellbeing of Bristol's communities and future generations. To make it a welcoming and attractive place that is used and enjoyed by everyone.
The users groups activities are still predominantly focused on ensuring that development does not infringe on the existing parkland and includes:
- Lobbying council members
- Leafleting in the park to keep awareness high
- Supporting the application for Town Green status for the park
